but this semester was been so wonderful and great that i'm almost second guessing graduation. almost. wait- nope not at all. though i am trying to relish every last morsel.
relishing every morsel really is a literal statement for me. i'm definitely the girl who wipes her whole plate with the dinner roll, drinks the cereal milk, scrapes the bowl, and occasionally i'll lick the plate in the privacy of my adorable duplex i'll miss. my etiquette can't surpass my desire to devour food. i'm actually looking forward to making a liveable paycheck upon graduation- not to buy a new car or a tv or something- i'm just dying to be able to afford all 16 ingredients in some of Paula's delightful dishes. And i'm kind of dying to be able to afford to watch Paula. I bet she licks plates.
and speaking of scoring a big girl check, i had my first big girl interviews on friday! short of a brief case and pin stripes, i felt super grown up. I interviewed with PICU and ER and realized in a matter of hours my absolute adoration for children and my despise for hasty, bloody messes- L&D is the exception to the despise apparently. Labor and Delivery is still top of my list-how can you beat celebrating birthdays every day?!- but I'll joyfully settle for anything with youngins.
so how am i supposed to focus on my silly school work with my big girl job/life looming a mere 3 months away?! 92 days. i'm excited to be a nurse but just not quite ready to give up snow days-one will be great tomorrow, Lord. I can't keep my head in a text book when I just want to sled! what a traumatic stage of life. and fabulous. this semester is very hannah montana-yep-best of both worlds.
so amid my rebellion for school-i stumbled onto some glorious time with the bachelor. and thanked God several time throughout the show-literally- that my boyfriend only likes me, only takes me sweet dates, and only hangs out with my dad. woof. glad i didn't have to resort to the american broadcasting company to locate the man of my dreams. yet. don't do that to me alex.
crossing my fingers for a snow day. realizing how much i loooove snow- thanks God for the best winter ever. reconsidering living closer to the north pole ie above the mason dixon line. reconsidering not. but i am more open to a vacay in colorado, and skiing. i can't believe those words left my mouth! fingertips rather. i just love snow. sledding > 3 classes tomorrow. make it happen Big Man.

ps also just learned this evening that my favoritist genius asian from high school has graduated from OU with a degree in chemistry and spanish and is now pursuing cosmetology!!! i love when people pursue their real dreams. and what credentials my stylist will have! my hair will be fabulous for the rest of my life!
